Vexation from Vaccinations

Sweaty palms, veins gushing with adrenaline, fumes of ethanol to numb my skin, thin shiny needle, and......its done.

Well, it actually wasn't as bad as it sounds (OK fine...so I exaggerated a lil bit).

Part of the requirements to join the ship is you have to be vaccinated against certain diseases. What I'm about to reveal is the complete list of vaccinations that I had to take. Brace yourself......

  1. Hepatitis A
  2. Hepatitis B
  3. Typhoid
  4. Polio
  5. Diphteria
  6. Tetanus

To be honest, it wasn't bad at all. I didn't actually have to take 6 jabs, just 4 because some of them were combined into one shot. And those weren't the thoughts going through my head at all...more like "Oh gees! I can't wait! =)".... 'cos call me weird but I like jabs. =)

My dad claims he had to bear more pain than me...in terms of paying for the vaccinations which cost a bomb!

One arm not enough to handle all those jabs!
With all these chemicals flowing through my veins, I can't help feeling like a walking test tube!!
